Music Lessons
Piano: Working through beginner method books and progressing towards the Royal Conservatory of Music graded books (grades 1-10). Focus on learning to read music, playing in time, scales, ear training and musicality.
Theory: Basic rudiments (learning note names, key signatures, time signatures, intervals) Beginner to Advanced levels and Basic harmony through the Royal Conservatory of Music. Lessons in Music History are also available.
Exam Preparation: Students have the option of preparing for Royal Conservatory of Music exams in piano and theory.
Music Festival: Students also have the option to participate in the Regina Music Festival, held in late April and early May. This can be discussed closer to the Festival registration date (January 2013).
